I will soon own Game & Watch Collection for the DS. My post play surveys from December have finally arrived, and I got myself up to 800 points. This is probably the only year that I’ll ever pull it off either, just because I was able to cash in on so many older games that I already had. I know some people might not think it’s all that great, but I’ve always loved the Game & Watch games, and LCD handhelds in general. I’ve also been in a real mood for short little “pick up and play” games lately, ever since getting Retro Game Challenge, so this is gonna be perfect for me. It should be in the mail any day now, so I’ll be posting impressions when I get it. Oh yeah.
On a totally unrelated note, Eskimo Bob 53 came out yesterday, so go and watch it or else!
If you have a DS Lite, you probably know what I’m going to talk about. The title probably gave it all away. I’m going to rant about the DS Lite’s flaky L button. I’ve had 2 DS Lites, and both eventually were victims of the L button curse. (more…)
I turned 27 on the 8th. What do you think of that, huh? Let’s see what I got… some cash, a watch, a couple days earlier I got DQ4 for the DS so I guess that counts in there sort of, and a TI-89 for school. Yeah, I went back to school this year. I suppose I never mentioned that. Oh well. The TI-89 has been of great usefulness for me and stuff and I like it. DQ4 has been fun. The ridiculous puns on the enemy names are pretty amusing. Um, yeah! That’s it for me for today, cya.

ign says there’s a new glory of heracles game coming out for the ds. i can’t help but find that pretty neat. since they’ve announced an english title, maybe it’s going to be translated into english. that would be pretty darn cool. i’ve always wanted to see more out of this series but it seemed like it was forgotten by time. i can’t wait to see what comes of this.

well it’s been a little while since i up and broke my ds. i finally got a new motherboard and i’m going to try putting it in when i get off work tonight. hopefully all goes according to plan. wish me luck!
