hoorah

some fedex dude showed up at the door with a box today. it was a lego set because of some random contest that my wife won. so i ended up getting it, and i built a jeep. oh yeah, that’s pretty cool. also, i bought a gameboy micro on the weekend because the price went down on them. it’s actually pretty cool. it rocks for taking to work and stuff because it’s so small. the screen is really really nice too, makes me wanna play a bunch of my old games again. i also have a strange urge to play pokemon for some reason but i don’t have any of the gba pokemon games. um, yeah, that’s about it. i painted the nasty blue shelf in my computer room. it’s brown now and we’ll probably put some books on it. peace out homeboy.

final fantasy 4 advance

Saturday, December 17th, 2005

yay! now a trip down memory lane where i can return to my roots and talk about ff4. this page was originally a final fantasy fan page so like, yeah. it’s all good and stuff. i’m very pleased with the new ff4 port, just like i was pleased with ff1&2:dos. it’s great and this game rocks. also, tellah still says this:

so you know it’s gotta be good. go out and buy it now. if you don’t, i don’t know what to tell you, but you’re missing out. now i’m going back to playing this fine game.

final fantasy 4

Sunday, September 18th, 2005

i know this news is really old, but ff4 is coming to gba in december and i couldn’t be more excited. if they edit out the famous “you spoony bard!” i’ll be pretty upset, but i think this is very unlikely since nintendo of america is doing the translation and they left in “i garland will knock you all down!”. either way, i’m really excited about this as the game is pretty much my favorite final fantasy as far as story and music goes. oh yeah…

gotta catch em all

so i’ve owned pokemon gold since christmas of 2000 when i got it as a gift. i played it then for an hour or two and it kind of fell to the bottom of my “games that you play once and forget about” pile. i picked it up once or twice since then, forgot where i was and turned it off. anyway, i started a new game on it yesterday and it’s actually pretty fun, i’ve racked up about 9 hours on it at work over the past 2 days so far. so yeah, that’s pretty fun. i have infinitely more important things to worry about in my life, but i figured that this was the best thing to blog about. until next time, keep fit and have fun!

vacation is fun, just like nes homages are

Friday, June 11th, 2004

i’ve been on vacation since last saturday and it’s been fun so far. got the classic nes gba sp and it’s awesome. the controller part of it isn’t just painted on, it’s actually made from the same plastic as a real nes controller. it also has some rectangles painted on the top of it while it’s closed to look like the vents on the top of a nes, and the bottom half of the gba is painted dark grey. as well, all the classic nes gba carts are the same color as a real nes cart. it’s pretty sweet really. anyways, that’s my blog for the day. it’s all good.
